Finding the Lab

When arriving, you will come through the double doors facing the Sandy Creek Transit Center. You will then walk until you come across an elevator on your left and go to the 4th floor. When reaching the floor, you will then make a left and follow the “Palm Lab” signs (It is possible there could be an receptionist who may ask what you are here for, if that is the case, you will say you are here for the PALM lab) and walk all the way down until you see room number 420.
-If you are arriving from anywhere else on campus please use this map to better navigate: Fairfax Campus Map. *Please note that we are on the left side (taller side) of the Enterprise building. You will know that you are in the correct area if the elevator has the option to go to the 4th floor. If it does not, then navigate to the other side of the building.*
What to expect
Visits to PALM have three parts. First, you’ll be greeted, and you and your child will spend a little time in our waiting area: you’ll fill out a little paperwork, and your child will get a chance to play for a few minutes. Then, the study will be explained in detail and you’ll participate. This usually involves your child watching a short video or playing a game, and we do our best to make it fun! During the last part of the visit, your child will get to pick out a children’s book to take home, and there may be a little bit of additional paperwork to fill out. You’ll have chances to ask questions before and after the study.
